Yeah...it has questions !!!

I plan on traveling to academy in September 2009 for Production/Engineering at the Harris Institute in Toronto, Canada. I was apprehensive if this is a astute decision? I feel that I'm absolutely amorous about it, yet I accumulate accepting told that it's a dying field, alone a hobby, and a brainless idea. I can candidly say there is annihilation abroad I wish to do, but I don't wish to fail. How are the jobs in this acreage in Canada? What about the school? Thanks
